Using AI in Your Daily Customer Success Routine with Alex Turkovic

Hello Customer Success Pros,

I have just released my next podcast episode with the digital CX expert himself, Alex Turkovic. With over 15 years of experience in customer success leadership, Alex is passionate about creating and delivering impactful and engaging customer experiences for products and services. As the Global Director of Digital Customer Success at Flexera, he combines digital and scaled customer success strategies with customer education programs to ensure optimal customer lifecycle engagement and outcomes. Alex is also the host of 'The CX Podcast', where he explores different aspects of building and maintaining world-class digital customer success experiences.

I saw down and had a great chat with Alex all about the integration of AI in customer success routines. Key topics in the podcast include practical uses of AI, tools for customer success professionals, and tips for using AI effectively.

We talk about tips, tricks and best practices on how you can use Ai daily in CS and Alex even shares his newest secret of how to use AI…by talking to Chat GPT on his walks! 🤔

Alex shares some practical examples of tools he uses AI in his daily workflow:

  • ChatGPT as a Personal Assistant: Alex uses ChatGPT to brainstorm and provide solutions to problems while on walks, making his walks more productive. This approach not only helps him generate ideas but also makes use of moments that might otherwise be unproductive.

  • Perplexity for Research: Replacing traditional search engines like Google, Alex uses Perplexity to perform in-depth research about accounts, gathering insights that make him more informed than ever.

  • Gamma for Presentations: Creating PowerPoint decks has never been easier. Alex uses Gamma to generate detailed presentations that save him hours of work.

We also chatted in depth about the importance of prompting AI correctly to get the results you are after. At the end of the day, AI is only as powerful as the prompt.

Alex shared the R.I.S.E.N framework for prompting your AI bot:

  • Role: Define the AI’s role clearly.

  • Instruction: Provide specific tasks.

  • Steps: Outline the process.

  • End Goal: Specify the final outcome.

  • Narrowing: Limit the scope to prevent irrelevant or incorrect information.
